They started handing out numbers a HALF HOUR EARLY (at 5:30) so "we" are number 35. They are only at number 17 right now (things started late).
Hellion is already gone.

edit: they just took the list. sounds like several more are probably sold out. will update.
edit: Tarot: The Lovers sold out (I think the only sold out vintage which means TOXIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I got some good news at the Collision place today which is going to help immensely with my deductible. I take this as a sign from the Heavens that I SHOULD GO TO CONVERGENCE. (I can pick and choose my signs, kthx.)
Problem: My plane route required me to be at the airport tomorrow morning directly after work. I had no ride to airport. And once I got to Long Beach, would need a ride to Dark Delicacies. The group I was hoping to go with is flying into LAX and might not even stop by Long Beach before driving to Burbank.
Solution: Looked up different fares on different airlines. I can go directly from Seattle to Burbank, leaving at 3:30pm, and be in Burbank at 6pm. The airport is right next to DarkDel. I can be at DarkDel by 6:10pm, assuming my plane is on time. Cab ride will be about $12. Awesome. AND.... my ride CAN get me to the airport in the afternoon. WIN WIN. And then I should be able to grab a ride down to Long Beach for Convergence with the people that I would have ridden up with. And hopfully dinner too. Airfare = almost same price. About $20 more.
Now I just need to find a place to stay in Long Beach. Anyone? Anyone?
I have a hold on my plane tickets and a guaranteed fare until 1pm tomorrow. But I need to decide way before that obviously. Going to make spreadsheet of who wants what now.
So far, it is a GO.

So I'm going to Cobwebs 3 this Friday.
THIS IS NOT FOR CONVERGENCE BOTTLES. There is a very strict limit per person at Convergence. Please do not ask me to get you bottles there.
I am charging $30 per bottle in order to offset plane fare, hotel, time, costs, etc. I do charge PayPal Fees (http://ppcalc.com) and S&H would be $5 for a small box flat rate priority (or just priority if it's the same price) with delivery confirmation. I can stuff quite a few bottles in a small flat rate priority box. (International peeps are going to be different for both Fees and Postage. Let me know where you are and I'll try to give you a quote.)
If I don't know you and you have new accounts on LJ and/or bpal.org, I will require that your PayPal payment have a confirmed address and that your account is "verified".
I can not guarantee bottle choice but I will do my best to get everyone at least one bottle in their top three. Please be flexible and list back ups in case I can't get your choice. We are limited to 5 bottles per scent. And last time things sold out before I even got to the front of the line (and I was #14 or something).
PLEASE do not ask me to get "something without lavender" or "no ginger" or "something fruity" because Cobwebs is CHAOTIC and my nose will be broken from trying to sniff everything. For my sanity, please give me names of bottles to pick up instead! :D And give me BACKUPS in case I can't get the ones you want. (Hellion, Underbed, Toxin, etc. are probably all going to be sold out...)
Please reply on my journal and tell me how many (and which ones) you are interested in. Please include your bpal.org forum name. I will need payment by Friday morning at 8am pacific time. It is 12pm pacific time on Thursday right now and I have to head off to bed (I work graveyard) -- so if you made an order AFTER that time, I will not be able to invoice you until after 8pm tonight.

Tickets are still affordable to Long Beach on Friday, returning home Saturday. WHY?!?! WHY MUST YOU TEMPT ME???????
Especially after the vacuum cleaner was found slain today. That's $400 to replace it right there.
So... say I were to bite the bullet and head down to Convergence and Cobwebs this weekend.
I would need to pick up 35 bottles for other people and myself with $10 donations each to break even. (Yes, I factor the $10 extra into bottles I purchase for myself too.)
Theoretically, who would be up for this? I would need money by Thursday night (no echecks!) in my PayPal account. And how many bottles would you want at $30 each? (still cheaper than eBay.) And this is knowing that I probably am not going to be able to get Toxin/Hellion/Underbed for everyone.

I am going to selling some bottles for a friend who is culling her collection. She just bought a house and could use the monies. I'm going to put them up on eBay probably tomorrow evening if I don't get any good offers before then. She said they are all as full as when she got them. She takes good care of her bpal. :) Non-smoking house, but she does have dogs. (The more I write, the more it sounds like me, but it isn't. Honest! She is "littlegoat" on bpal.org and ravelry.)

Kathy at BPAL is taking care of me, e-check should clear today or tomorrow, I should receive some cash in the mail today or tomorrow, and I get paid tomorrow -- so one way or another, things will be mailed out tomorrow.

(I kept typing "BATHMAN", lmao if I wasn't freaking out.)
I didn't get to go back for extras because I was short money. But without my computer, I couldn't figure out why I was so short -- well today when counting what I got and what my math was at the event -- holy crap. I overpaid by about $290. So my PayPal account was drained. (It wasn't their fault -- I did the math wrong.)
The good news -- I am still waiting on payment that was accidentally sent e-check.
Bad news -- echeck won't clear until Thursday or Friday. I don't get paid until Friday.
I contacted the answers@ e-mail address and told them how dumb I am. But really it wasn't their fault.
So the people I owe refunds to -- um. Can you wait until we get this figured out or until Friday when I get paid? You will get refunded or you can have your choice of the extra things I managed to snag or I can decant from my bottles or whatever. I am so sorry!
I am going through everything right now trying to see who got what. I'll contact everyone individually and let them know choices if I wasn't able to get their number 1 items.

I am back home! Wow, it was chaotic and confusing.

The boyflame has given the thumbs up on my daytrip. I has plane tickets to Burbank.
When the list is posted I will make another journal entry with instructions for sending me orders and any limits, etc.
When I have your order, I will send you a total that includes bottles, tax (if any), S&H, etc. I will need the money by the 22nd at the very latest. If I don't have the money at that time, I will not be able to purchase your bottles for you. (Edit: I found out that the Cobwebs bottles do not have tax, but if I purchase anything from DD there is tax on that. So if I pick up the DD Summer B-movies, those will be taxed. Or any leftover Poes.)

I am considering heading down to Burbank for this...
I am happy to pick up things for you guyz and would appreciate donations to help offset airfarez.
(I think there is a bottle limit per scent, though, so I will do my best but please don't be angryz if I am not able to get bottles of some things. I will even go back (or still be there) after 4pm to buy morez after bottle limit is lifted.)
Right now I can get tickets for $220 r/t but only if I leave on Thursday, which means I'd miss 10 hours of work and have to use vacation or swap with someone.
edit: Found tickets on United for $260 r/t. I could leave Saturday morning and be in Burbank at 10:30am and then do Dark Delicacies, head back to the airport at 3:30pm (4:30pm flight) and be home by 8pm. American Airlines for $199, arriving in Burbank at 10am and leaving Burbank at 6pm. Non stop flights, unlike United, and I won't be as rushed. Also, I wouldn’t have to pay for a place to stay or miss any work. Win win win?? The Burbank airport looks REALLY close to Dark Delicacies, so a taxi wouldn’t be a problem. It's two miles away, so theoretically 6 minutes by car. I wonder if I would have to mail the perfume back to myself or how much perfume you can take on the plane? Anyone know? I’m probably mailing it back to myself, huh.
I'd kind of like to stay for Sunday and do Universal Studios too. I wonder if I can convince my boyfriend to come with me. I don't want to admit to him that I'm going down there for perfume related reasons. He almost said yes, but then said maybe in July. (I haz convergence plans, oh yes.)
